  • Howdy, Folks!

    I'm so glad you're here!

Smile! I want to take your picture! I want to give you the gift of remembrance, and I want it to sparkle like a jewel in your hand. I want to capture you just the way you are so that when your children, your parents, and your best friends look back, they will see how precious you've always been and just how amazing you've become. Look at these images, close your eyes and remember love. And when you take that second look, soak it up...

Without further ado, I invite you to put your comfy pants on, sit back, and explore this site to get a taste of what it's like to spend a wild afternoon with me, romping around or lounging around - whatever suits you best! Send me a note if you have any questions, comments, or good jokes to share!

Happy Trails to You... Until We Meet Again,

Sisters + Cousins = One Happy Family

So many kids, so little time! Actually, when I met with these cousins and their families, we had exactly the right amount of time. Because, even though these kids were such darlings during the shoot, when they were done, they were DONE! Snacks and naps are top priorities for babies, you know?

I had so much fun chasing these little guys around and getting to know the bigger ones, too!

Melanie + Klint = Braden

Klint is the brother of Kevin (of Kristen + Kevin = Claire). Melanie is the wife of Klint. Braden is the son of Klint + Melanie. All these good-looking people are making my head spin!

I met this adorable little family for an early morning session at the park. Braden was all kinds of cuteness and fun – the cute stuff squishy little babies are made of! He was such a trooper – he made it through all the bouncing, face-making, peek-a-boo, superman, and “How big is Braden?”s like a champ. A handsome little champ with two doting parents and loads of charm.

Carlisle Family

Family reunions are like my Super Bowl. While some photographers might freak out when they’re responsible for making 20 people look great simultaneously, I thrive on the chaos. You know why? Because, with my clients, it’s always kind, warm, and downright fun chaos. The kind of chaos that feels like a bear hug.

These guys invited me  out to their awesome Hocking Hills vacation cabin for some family photos, and they seriously let their personalities shine! Witty and rambunctious, these 6 siblings and their families (plus mom and dad) totally wowed me with their humor and their welcoming words!

We ended the evening by the pool, complete with swim caps and goggles (which grandma adorably wore upside-down). BEST DAY EVER!
