An amazing day.

I just wanted to write a quick note to say what an amazing blessing it is to do what I do. I just witnessed the most reverent and fervent vows followed by the most outrageous and just plain FUN party! Lindsay and Jordan, I love you, and I don’t say that lightly. Love follows you around like a puppy, darting between your feet and jumping up on you with muddy paws. But you just smile, look up at each other and keep on walking into the sunset. Thank you for the gift you gave me today. I hope we all never forget what real love looks like.

P.S. Pictures coming soon. ;) Hold your horses -I JUST walked in the door!

I can’t help but be really really ridiculously good looking.

It’s not that I hate long hair; it’s just that I WON’T style it. A lifetime of experience tells me that I will wake up, take a shower, throw some goo in it and go. Long hair is wonderful and beautiful on other people. On me, it goes unbrushed. I am not a good steward of long hair. So my favorite hair-stylist-person Jaime (Charles Penzone Dublin – GO SEE HER) cut it off for me.

Kate, Carter, Levi, Sarah + Harlie : Sneak Preview

As I was laughing at the sweet images from Kate, Carter, Levi, Sarah + Harlie’s session, I came across this gem. Now, I’m not one to jump straight to black and white (I *LOVE* color!), but as beautiful as this image is with soft blues and greens, the simplicity of shades of grey appealed to me. Stay tuned for even more super-cuteness (and to see photos of the rest of the gang)!

Lindsay + Jordan

Meet Lindsay + Jordan.

Lindsay and Jordan are made for each other, and everybody knows it. It’s all over their faces. It’s in their laughter. It’s in the way they poke fun at each other. It’s in their mutual love of salsa dancing, Jesus, and math (!?!). It’s in the way they respect each other, and the way they make each other brave. They’re the kind of couple that makes you feel like you’ve been invited into to something amazing and pure and beautiful just by starting a conversation with them. They’re magic. Really fun, hilarious magic.

I met Lindsay and Jordan at Creekside in Gahanna (the site of Jordan’s romantic proposal, and the venue for their upcoming wedding reception) just a week before they were scheduled to tie the knot. We danced, frolicked (no joke), and stood in traffic to capture the essence of who they are and who they will become once their lives are united by the awesome, holy bond of marriage.

Lindsay and Jordan, I love you already. Thank you for letting me walk along side you during some of the most important moments of your lives. Never forget that this is just the beginning. It only gets better from here. ;)
