The Goods!

Today is a beautiful day. In Ohio, the sky is speckled with cotton ball clouds and I swear I can hear God playing Rogers and Hammerstein on some kind of divine two-way radio only I can hear. As such, I did not consider it merely coincidence when I skipped up to my doorstep to find this beauty waiting to be unwrapped! Thanks to Erin and Jimmie for being unarguably adorable, and to my fantastic album company for delivering printed and bound photographic perfection. Back to the Future

All that talk about flux capacitors in the last post made me itchy to try some vintage-y post processing with my new actions. Even though neither Aasta nor John were alive in the nineteen seventies, they’re looking pretty as pie in these retro photos.

What do you guys think? Are the seventies worth revisiting? Is there even anyone reading this blog who was alive way back then? ;)

Put me in, Coach!

I have very vivid and wonderful childhood memories of packing up the Honda and heading to my dad’s weekly softball games at the Park of Roses. So, when Erin and Jimmie asked me to photograph their church’s softball league, I couldn’t wait to fire up the flux capacitor and head down memory lane.

I took tons of action shots, but in typical fashion, my favorites were the ones I snapped in between plays!
